We are also challenged to make human powered transportation available to those segments of the community that have no access otherwise. While we have programs that make bikes available for donated time, or reasonable fees or cost, these presume the ability to work or pay, which is not a given.
By working with other agencies we make available bicycles and bike maintenance expertise to foster the adoption and use of human powered transportation in these demographics.
